Horin Shirakawa - White River Incense

"Shirakawa" from Shoyeido's Horin collection is named after the Shirakawa River winding through the Geisha district of Gion, Kyoto. It means 'white river' in Japanese and is undoubtedly one of our favourite incense to burn. It's key notes are sandalwood and cinnamon with a vanilla top note. It's sweet and spicy and gains momentum as it burns. It's the one we always reach for, and always burn for friends and family to show them why we really love Japanese incense.
